Star World finalizes Vietnam clip for Mrs. World 2009

After two weeks with contestants from the Mrs. World 2009 pageant, Star World channel and the Vietnam Television (VTV) have finished a 20-minute clip introducing the competition and Vietnam.

This clip will be broadcasted on the final night, November 22, @ 8 P.M. local time on 70 TV channels throughout the world.

After two days in Hanoi and Ha Long (Quang Ninh), the ladies returned to Vung Tay city to prepare for the final night. The script and the stage for the final night are already in place. American, Hong Kong and Vietnamese are in charge of technical equipment for the final show.

According to the organizing board, the stage will look like the famous theatre Carnegie Hall in New York, but it will be decorated in Vietnamese cultural patterns.

The crown for the beauty queen has been available for viewing. Designed by the Gia Gia Jewelry Company, this crown is made of 14k gold, 63 rubies representing 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam, including the biggest one in the middle as Hanoi.

The crown is also inlayed with one piece of citrine and five pieces of green quartz and many pieces of white zircon to symbolize Vietnam’s forests and sea. Friendliness, hospitality and the pride of Vietnamese people and country is the message of this crown.
